How to get SaaS feedback before launch

Direct answer
Useful pre-launch feedback comes from watching a defined target user attempt a realistic task, then asking about the problem and decision rather than whether they like the idea. Combine interviews with a prototype or manual workflow, record where users hesitate, and separate repeated evidence from isolated opinions before changing scope, positioning, onboarding, or pricing.
Methodology
Review public feedback requests and linked product evidence, then code the specificity of audience, task, question, evidence type, response volume, and any documented product change.
Current qualifying sample: 3 records across 3 distinct founders or products. Publication threshold: 20 records across at least five founders or products.

Limitations
- The current review covers three public Buildside examples, below the 20-record publication threshold.
- The examples are observational and cannot establish a causal relationship with launch, revenue, or discovery outcomes.
- A different named reviewer with relevant credentials has not yet completed an independent review.
