For my mom, answering a call is just as hard as making one.

She can’t remember where she left her phone. When she finds it, unlocking it is a struggle. And most of the time, it isn’t even charged. So HelloPorch has drop-ins. A trusted family member starts a call, HelloPorch says out loud who’s calling, counts down, and connects on its own. My mom doesn’t have to find, unlock, charge or tap anything. My goal is to remove every step that stands between my mom and the people she loves. This was a big one. thats a genius idea. i love it. automatic answering from trusted contacts is that feature that makes it worth it for elderly people.
