Lesson
We took the pose server out so a session of a hundred people could share a street, each browser linked to about sixteen neighbors, with the host limited to the introduction: who is in, who is nearby, and the offer, answer, and candidates between them. That design holds. It is also why a demo between two home offices lies. Ordinary routers often allow the direct punch, so two laptops look like the feature is finished. Two phones mint a fresh public port for every destination, the punch has nowhere to land, and what remains is a guest book with slow dots. The hallway for those phones is a relay on a public address, opened with a credential the host signs for one person and one expiry, minted when you join and again when a call becomes active. People who can already see each other skip it. The password stays off the page, because a key in the JavaScript is a key for every visitor who can load the site. The proof still owed is two log lines: a direct pair on a home network, a relay pair on a phone, and silence on neither.
