Major CrewTower update with Claude Code Mod

By Said Altan

October 1: Anthropic announces Claude Code mods. October 6: my app ships a feature built on them. October 7: my customers get the update. Mods let developers run their own code inside Claude Code. The moment I read that, I knew what it meant for CrewTower, my Mac app that shows your AI coding agents in your notch: a direct line into every Claude session. Until then it could only watch Claude and tell you when it needed you. With mods, it could finally act: send Claude its next instruction, stop it, or clean up its memory, right from the notch. So I built it, and six days later it was in my customers' hands. Most answers to that interview question are a reading list. Mine has a version number.
