This is my first 3D web app project so really just trying to figure out the best ways to make the spaces easy to understand and explore.

There are a few things I am experimenting with in this project. 1. Feature discovery In a traditional website, you just look at the navbar or scroll a feed to find things. But what is a good experience when you want to have that functionality in a 3D space? How can I make it both interesting to explore but also easy to navigate. 2. Categories In CollaboTokyo, categories and topics are separated by different District and Subarea within "Tokyo". You can ride the train to different neighborhoods or just walk around to new places and topics. My goal is to have spaces where people interested in similar topics can find others who they can interact with and maybe work with in real time. Forums and feeds are great but I want to see if its possible to introduce some serendipity to social platforms through virtual real-time interactions. 3. Collaboration and Communication Current collaboration revolves around emails, messaging, and calls. When it comes to networking or outreach its a lot of cold emails. Is there a version of this that could be done differently in a live space? Interacting in games definitely feels different from interacting over messenger so is there a fun way to incorporate a more interesting experience into online networking? Just some random thoughts. If you have ideas or experience in game design or community building would love to hear your thoughts.
