Most of us ship in silence.

We work for weeks, sometimes months, and the only proof is a private GitHub commit history or a tweet that disappears in 24 hours. That’s why I started using NowMine. It’s a simple build-in-public platform where you post one honest update a day and keep a public streak. No noise, no hot takes — just a clean log of what you actually shipped or learned. You can start a new streak or carry one over from somewhere else. There’s also video proof uploads and finish cards when you complete a run. I’ve been using it daily and it’s already changed how intentional I am with my work. If you’re tired of building in the dark, try it for a week: → https://nowmine.site Takes 2 minutes. No fluff. Just proof. #buildinpublic #indiedev #100daysofcode #webdev #developers #shipping #buildinpublicchallenge #NowMine

kinhin watches your CI queue and, for each queued job…

https://youtu.be/x7rfVDx14O8 It works with GitHub Actions, GitLab CE, Gitea Actions and Forgejo Actions. Buildkite, Azure Pipelines and Bitbucket are planned for a later release. The limits: Apple allows two macOS VMs at once on a Mac, whatever the hardware. Linux containers are not capped by that. It’s still a beta. The beta 2 post lists what has been run for real and what hasn’t: https://kinhin.dev/blog/beta-2 Source and releases: https://github.com/RabinApps/kinhin. I’d especially like feedback from anyone running CI on Macs today.

A user comment became a fix: no more duplicate companies

Someone on Peerlist pointed out that CSV imports could split one company into two when the spelling differed. Fair point, so I fixed it. - Company names are normalized before matching, so "ACME, Inc." and "Acme Inc" land on the same record. - Imports also match on website or company email domain, ignoring free email providers like Gmail. - The import preview shows new vs matched companies, and you choose to skip, update or keep. - Existing duplicates get a "Possible duplicate" badge and a Merge button. Contacts, deals, invoices, tickets and activity move to one record in a single all-or-nothing step, and the duplicate is archived, not deleted. Building in public works best when people tell you where it breaks.

Solo SaaS Founders:

Would You Use Affiliate Links on Your Own Platform? I'm a solo founder building and operating a SaaS platform, and I've come across an opportunity that's making me rethink how I approach monetization. One of the third-party services integrated into my platform offers an affiliate program with attractive commissions. I've worked extensively with this service, understand its value, and have even developed my own improvements around similar functionality. The opportunity makes financial sense, especially as a solo founder. But I'm hesitant about the professional implications. My concern isn't whether affiliate marketing works. It's whether earning commissions from integrated service providers aligns with the credibility and positioning of an independent SaaS platform. I'd love to hear how other founders approach this. - Would you use affiliate links for services already integrated into your platform? - Do you see affiliate revenue as a legitimate secondary income stream for SaaS businesses? - Could it create a conflict of interest or affect how customers perceive your recommendations? - Where would you draw the line between a genuine recommendation and monetization? I'm particularly interested in hearing from founders who've faced a similar decision. Would you take the additional revenue opportunity, or prioritize keeping your platform commercially independent?
