Turn GitHub pushes into product updates

Growth and Scale members, including members on a Growth trial, can connect a product repository and get notified about new features. Choose when to generate a private AI draft or write the update yourself.

What’s changed

• Buildside reviews individual commits on your repository’s default branch for new user-facing features. Improvements to existing features, routine fixes, typos, and cosmetic changes are skipped.
• Relevant code changes are sent to OpenAI for review after sensitive paths are filtered and common secrets are redacted.
• Click Generate draft for one AI draft per commit, with up to 25 requests per day across your products. Commit notifications continue when you reach the limit.
• Choose Write draft to use the commit details as a reference without using AI. Review and edit your writing before publishing; nothing is shared automatically.
• Connect GitHub from My Products using a popup and searchable repository selection. Pause updates or disconnect from your product’s GitHub updates page.
